Hartford, CT USA

The building on the left is City Place I. I worked in there for a number of years before I retired. The building in the middle is the former Goodwin Hotel (above the facade) and the building on the right is part of the XL Center. Corner of Asylum Ave. and Trumbell St.

What I experience when I look at all those repetitious windows is uniform sameness with no personal or individual warmth at all. Adding color to the image still leaves me with a feeling of emptiness. Therefore, IMO, the B&W is the perfect representation. Either way though, it's a great wide-angle image! Well done!

Got to agree with Walter, the color version is super. Guess you kept the warm color setting. The wide angle is really sharp. V

Great POV to show the modern architecture. Like Walter I prefer the color version. V

An interesting comparison to see these color version with the B&W version side by side. I like both, but prefer the color version as it has more depth and warmth and shows the details better. "V"
