The kayaker is Steve Fagin (reporter/blogger for "the Day" newspaper). He teamed up with David Fasulo (of Exsex Adventures, Essex, CT )in Middletown, CT, who had kayaked the CT river from Agawam Massachusetts (Pynchon Point) to Middletwon. David Crossed the MA/CT border about 6:15am and arrived in Middletown at about 12:00. Steve and David arrived in Old Saybrook, CT at about 6:15pm. According to the GPS it was 67.8 miles from Agawam to Old Saybrook.
