Greetings Frank ~
I just wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and the Happiest and Healthiest of New Years!
Paul, thanks for your comment. I don't have your email address, so I posted this here. If you are not aware of it, you should know that there are some focus issues with the P7000. Sometimes it can be very difficult to get focus. I would still purchase it again though, as I am so pleased with its image quality, especially in RAW. If you go to Dpreview's Nikon forum there are a number of threads on the focusing issues. Here is the link.
I am very impressed with the sharpness of the long shots hand held...and the wonderful detail in Macro...I think I will get me one of these P 7000's instead of the smaller Canon S95 I've been eyeing...my older Canon Elf died last year in Argentina and I miss having a small camera to carry around ( my older D70 is just too bulky even with small 50mm f1.4 )
Thanks for posting all the shots !

Great images. I'm thinking of moving my allegiance of many years from the Panasonic TZ range to the Sony HX9V!
Tell me I'm doing the right thing?

Hi Frank, your LX3 shots are great, you should take part of the first LX3 dedicated photo contest at the lx3-photography blog.
