Wonderful truly wonderful photographs.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing them with us.
Thank you so much for the excellent presentation of so many exceptionally good photographs
of the Louvre and some of its outstanding exhibits. I am planning to visit soon, and this
has been the best site I've found. Such work deserves the highest praise.
You have the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen!! This makes me want to visit Paris even more that I already do. I am a college student and I have been working on a French presentation about the arab culture in France, and your pictures have been so useful so thanks again!
Thanks for allowing us to visit the Lourve with you
I know I will never get there my self so thanks I
enjoyed all art and statues.
Thanks again Cindy
your pictures are beautiful! i was just at the louvre a few weeks ago but never saw it this beautiful! no words to describe your talent and the wonder of paris!
The work and framing of your photos are very attractive. I enjoy watching them. And welcome to my album.
I just woke up and was browsing pbase when I found your website. It is truly amazing and very touching. It is the more meaningful because I am also planning to visit Paris (for the first time) on August. You have given your own incredible interpretations of Paris. You have done an wonderful work.
Very very lovely photos !!
Beautiful work and the framing on the web page is really nice. I am new to pbase and was wondering if you could tell me how to add the framing to my pbase shots. Was this done in pbase or did you do it before loading to pbase? Thanks for the info and the photos are beautiful.
Hi Francis, very nice work. What lenses did you use? Did you have a tripod? I was in Amsterdam in the Rijksmuseum, and I was not allowed to use flash or tripod. The color of all your photos is 'fantastique', keep up the good work.

You did a VERY nice job. Keep up the GREAT work. These pictures make me feel as if I am there in the museum looking at this art myself. THANK YOU
Francis, You're a wonderful photographer. I'm amazed that you're able to get so many pictures of the interiors of museums -- I thought they all had "no photography" rules.
This is just superb work - both photography and presentation. Thanks for making it available to us!
Your message made me feel good at the beginning of this new day. Thank you for such nice comments.
Speaking of talent, let me return the compliment to you...Your gallery of favourites is really outstanding, with its warm colours and remarkable composition.
I too extend my compliments- this is one of the most beautiful pages I've seen on PBase- not just the photos, but also the composition of the page as a whole. I am very envious
of your talent.
This too much, Floren...I am touched by your compliment.
It is a real pleasure sharing pictures with passionate people like you.
Francis, what a perfect gallery! wow, as usual my eyes are stuck on every shots to your very very high standard of photograhy ...if i could only be half as good as you taking shots like these, i am sure it will be like i am in heaven! all my admirations and deep respect..wow wow wow and all my bows to you!..regards/floren
I did not use any grey card. I found that the Canon D30 automatic balance usually works well, except in extreme situation of mixed lighting.
Thank you for your kind comment.
Your message led me to discover your pictures, which I found original and very attractive.I am looking forward to your next gallery.
Thank you Marie,
I have thoroughly enjoyed your 2 galleries, and I wish you would post more of these beautiful images.
Sorry to hear that...Le Louvre is at its best under a bright morning light , which transforms the atmosphere of the place, outside as well as in the museum galleries.
Come again ..hopefully under a more clement weather.
Beautiful colour on the indoor shots. Did you do any grey card custom white balance setting?
Very nice photographs indeed especially the internal shots, well done!
Fantastic photos you should submit them to a stock agency.
Francis - I am so envious of your nice pictures of the Louvre...I was there last April '01 and it rained all day! Thank you.
