Before going to the Mont St-Michel last week-end I did a search on Pbase and found your gallery. I have highly appreciated your images but wondered how I was going to shoot because what I saw in your gallery was stunning. So I decided to take another approach and to take HDR pictures. Your pictures of Mont St Michel are incredible. I also have some very nice pictures of it taken lastyear around the 15'th of may, what an amasing place. To anyone that has not been here i suggest you go, you will not regret it. Lastyear i went and toured england, germany and france, the bulk of the time was spent in france, but nothing was more beautiful then the north shores of france, we traveled from Dieppe accross to MSM and that was the highlight of the entire trip.

This is a remarkable set of images. The artist's instinct for light and composition combine to give anyone who has visited this place a feel of being there again. I wonder how long it took to come up with this set of pictures. Certainly it was not done in just one visit.

I visited le Mont Saint Michel in 1984-1985 when I was working in Bretagne...Carhaix-Plougher to be exact. I have always wanted to return because of places like this. Merci pour les tres belles photos. Mon copain est jaloux...il l'aime bien aussi. Karen Canadienne

And, some more comments: It would have been much more interesting if you have used any Human element in the pictures The Refectory & La Salle des Hôtes and It would also help you in showing the sense of scale. Mont Saint Michel: It's a great picture again... if it's composition is not in the middle. Anyways, great work.

Beautiful photos! Tres jolie! I'll be visiting this place in September and very much look forward to seeing it for myself and maybe capturing a few images of my own. Was it the late Galen Rowell (sp?) who shot the timeless image of Mont St. Michel with the rainbow flowing into the building? It's one of those pictures that's etched into my brain forever.
