Châteaux of the Loire
A few postcards from a short trip along the Loire valley, visiting Chambord, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Ussé and Villandry castles...
perfect water reflections
bravo , vos photos sont magnifiques .
I have poured over your galleries a thousand times. You are one of my most favorite photographers. I have learned so much from your images and I have fallen in love with your France! Kim
Excellent work. Enjoy YOUR style, as always!
great work with excellent shots! I remember this places: I visited in 1995. Complimenti ancora!!!
Your work is, indeed, spectacular!
I visit often, and as always, am amazed at your work! It's breathtaking, thank you. Mary
Francis - no need to repeat everyone's views as to how talented you are! In 1999, my wife and I also visited the Loire Valley, and spent many hours touring all of the castles that you have captured with your brilliant photos. Chenonceau was our favorite (unfortunately, some of the castles were being restored so photo opportunities were limited). Please keep up your good work!
P.S. - if Canon is not supplying you with free equipment, they should be, since your D60 notes at the end of each photo is great advertising for them!
Francis: How wonderful! My wife and I stayed in the Loire valley the week prior to your visit! We also went to Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau and Usse, but did not get to Chenonceau. I admire your photos ... I aspire to your level of skill!
Francis, thankyou so much for these lovely picture! I visited these chateaux in 1984 on my honeymoon and it's so nice to see them again! If I was digital in '84 I would have brought back thousands of pictures instead of six rolls! I also toured Paris, the Dordogne valley, the Medoc region (of course!), Angers, Tours, LaRochelle... ahhhh, I think I need to go back again, after looking at your pics! Thanks again. Cheers, Sandi
