you are a really great photographer. would be interested in finding out if you are willing to sell some of your images. i am especially interested in Sunset over Piazza San Marco II. i would like to have to have it in a 16x20 for framing in my living room. let me know what you think or if you would be interested in trading. www.pbase.com/fade_away

Since you're an avowed narcissist, I thought I'd drop you a word of praise and tell you that you've long been one of my favorite artists. I do this for no reason other than wishing you happiness and success. Your Lomo galleries are especially joyful, and ALL of them are inspirational. Best of luck to you always.

I stumbled into your website because I was doing research on Havana for a trip there this December. What a find -- wonderful pictures, enjoyable trip reports!

I moved to Canada from Hong Kong in 1967. I always like to take pictures. To travel without a camera, or memory space these days, is a torture.

I envy you having a photographer wife, mine doesn’t touch photographic equipment. My father, though, used a Zeiss Ikon folding camera. He was a much more careful than I am, spending lots of time on each and every shot. My son inherits my Sony 4 megapixels. He is a passable rock concert photographer. Your “apprentice” takes mastery pictures!

If you’ve time, chak out my site: http://community.webshots.com/user/chakkee

Thanks,

Chak Wong

p.S. Any advice on Cuba is much appreciated!

Man.. I wish I could have travelled to half as many places as you have.

Great photos! will come back for more

Outstanding gallery. I've neglected pbase for a long time, and my first 10mins back here I've found your gallery. Some amazing lomographic work as well as the usual photography work. Some great reflections of travels is what I always love to see.
I shall be keeping an eye on your gallery.

Take care.
jim_panzee 26-Sep-2004 19:19
I really like the photographs, you have a wonderful imagination, and a good eye for the shot. I also love the gallerie composition and lay out, what's your secret.

jim panzee.

Ps. I still don't want to sell my 28mm 1.4[img http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/Wink.gif[/img]

If travel broadens the mind, you’ll have a brain the size of a planet!

Thanks for sharing the galleries, which more than repay the viewing time. Because I’m addicted to atmosphere, HK by night is my fav from the travel section. Your alphabet wins on overall creativity and its use of colour really appeals. It’s the first gallery awarded my vote.

There’s an interesting interplay with your father’s work – your differing personal slants on shared subjects.

I’ll close with some sound photographic advice. Return to Egypt and visit Abu Simbel.

regards,

John H

Hi Framewerkz!

I just can't get over you lomo pics! I really love them! I think the fact that you can take such nice pics with such a simple camera just shows how great an artist you are! :)

No wonder that I enjoy your travel pics and your architectural shots so much too!

Keep posting! :)

Wow! Sometimes clicking in someone else's guestbook may lead to a wonderful set of galleries. Thanks for sharing all these.
It's amazing to see we have a few travels in common ... including Barcelona with only a few days difference.
If interested, please visit my galleries. Pics from Morocco, Cuba, Maldives, Spain, Italy, ... and just around the block.

I have seen your phtos and am writing to you in the hope that you may be able to come and speak to some students that I teach - showing some of your photos and talking a bit about their composition - nothing too technical as I am talking about Form 3 (14 year old girls) in a local Hong Kong school. My aim is to try to get students interested in having a go at this kind of creative expression and to this end, I want to get in some 'real live' photographers to show them their work. Like all local schools, we work within a very limited budget but if you could contact me, we could discuss this further or even please let me know if ths is something you would most definitely not do.
Many thanks

G'day!
Funny that you mentioned about the Spurs top....I never really considered it like that until today! Cant have been many people wearing the same thing in Iraq...having said that, quite a few of the locals had heard of Gary Linekar, but were suprised to hear that he doesnt play anymore!

Hi Framewerkz,

Is there a possibility if you can show me the CSS coding for the effects on your main page of your gallery???? The dim effect and mouse over highlight is really cool!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it might be a lot to ask but I have been experimenting on the CSS scripts and I find out yours is the best I have seen!!!!!
