Gobi March 2005

Well, here it is - 10 days, 1,600+ images from nearly 3,000 taken. Welcome to the unofficial image microsite for the Gobi March 2005. I've endeavored to roughly classify the images in categories which (mostly) make sense, galleries for which you can find below. There are some fairly large galleries and literally hundreds of images. Take your time visiting and browsing - these images aren't going anywhere for a while.

Once in the galleries, you can view a larger image by clicking on the thumbnail. To download an image, set the image size to "Original" (you can do that under each image when viewed individually) - then right-click to save! The images have been uploaded at 600x400, which is not only bandwidth-friendly, but will print OK to 6"x4".

You can also leave comments in the galleries, or for individual images.

If you want to enlarge and print any of those images, please drop me an email here, and let me know what you need. If you have any enquiries from media with respect to use of these images, please contact Mary Gadams for the lowdown on what can or cannot be done. If you do use any of the images (media, website, publicity, etc), I only ask that due credit be given ("by Lester Lim for Framewerkz") and that you send me a copy for my portfolio...

If in doubt about anything at all, or if you just want to say hi, you can drop me a line here.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that this was certainly a fantastic experience for me, I hope the images bear this out and that you like them. It was a privilege meeting you all, and certainly hope to do so again. Have camera, will travel, can subsist in tents - so please do keep me in mind for anything you think I might be able to help out with. While you're here, please do tool around the rest of the galleries for an idea of what I've done, and can do.

A big, appreciative thank you to the following for equipment support for this event: Apple, Canon Hongkong, Framewerkz, Jebsen, LowePro, Manfrotto and Sandisk.
