Toronto - Sax Fest

On Sunday May 30, 2004 almost 1,000 Saxophone players got together to play their way into the Guinness Book of Records. This event was organised by local band "The Shuffle Demons". These pictures are my record of the happenings. The musicians played the theme song from "Hockey Night in Canada" which is almost an anthem up here in the 'Great White North'.

These pictures are low resolution versions of the originals.

great shots michael!!!!!wasn't that something amazing and they sounded beautiful.....saturday at 6;oo p.m. on jazz fm 91.1 I heard they're going to play a recording. I'm not certain about this so check their web site ...jazz F.M. will get you there the long way. We better have a good poster out there to celebrate the moment.What can you do for us mike ? .......thanks for the view .....paul

You captured the event nicely man! I love the wide angle crowd shots. We were way at the back--- my wide shots were all of the backs of sax players' heads. I hope it's ok for me to snag some of these low res shots for our digital scrapbook. Thanks for posting these pics.
