Then I will find out if the D100's exposure time of 112 msec will be sufficient for good photos. Meanwhile, I am working on a mechanical shutter. Because there is still so much fine mechanical lathe work to be done, it is going to take longer before I can proceed. In any event, if it doesn't work with 112 msec, then it will be better with 9 msec !
