It was impossible to predict what figure would appear. Every time the shapes turned out completely different. The color variations depend on how close together the droplets were released. The volume of the tone generator had to be adjusted by experimentation. The lighting was created by two Vivitar 238 flashes and the lens in use was the AF200/4D micro set on F27.
