My first in-flight insect with the new setup for 2011. They are so small, so black, so fast, but the unit can detect they easy. I saw some flying between the raindrops. Temperature is only 6 degree, so very few insects to capture. Ultimately, I am very satisfied with this first recording. The mug was well centered and sharp, except for the wings but the wings move to fast in function of the flashtime. Wing size is 6 mm peak to peak. Body diametre < 1 mm. Thanks!
I'm just waiting for higher temperature. No more bugs the last days.
