this is awesome..so sharp
Vinh Luu06-Dec-2005 05:44
came out pretty sharp didn't it? it's comparable to the D70 i'd say. go easy on the sharpening though, i think i see some sharpening artifacts along the bar and moire in the fence to the rear.

you don't always have to focus using the rangefinder patch. for street shooting, you can learn to range-focus (aka guesstimate) or shoot hyperfocal.

so how'd you like your film experience? :) do you enjoy the process? i think without all the excess features, buttons, LCD, etc... things are more fun. photography becomes pure photography, and less about work or grabbing shots just because you can. and if anything, it gives you something new to play with. :)

beautiful Ann, love all the shapes and movement. And WOW a Leica, that's a camera I've always dreamed of getting since my undergrad days.

I'm impressed, Ann! I also follow Vinh's progress with his film. It forces you to learn because there's no redo :) Great job!

Good composition! And very good moment captured!!
Guest 06-Dec-2005 00:16
lovely film shot! love the black and white.
the circular play area complements the mother who is playing with the little one and her arm movements helps capture the shot..
love the shadows and formed on the ground too!
