The Jacarandas are impressive trees in May and June when covered with clusters of blue tubular flowers.
The ground below them turns rapidly blue. Gardeners aren't too happy with their litter but I think it is quite a beautiful sight to see.

Almost like the carpet of leaves in the fall. I'd like to see purple ones instead of our brown ones :) I want to stop and lie down for a short nap in the middle of them.

Very beautiful that sea of blue. It make a nice carpet for a bare footed woman to walk though.
