A Tree Grows In Delta Ponds
The water level is high in Delta Ponds. So some of the trees found along the ponds are now in the water. This tree is of beautiful color, even without leaves. Thanks to those who reminded me that this is a willow tree. I was told it is a Pacific Willow.

Signs Of Spring
Signs of spring are starting to show in Western Oregon. The Crocus, daffodil and snowdrop are among the earliest to bloom. These crocuses on the University of Oregon campus are beautiful.

Real Men DO Like Quiche!
Carol makes a great quiche! I like it for breakfast.
History (from Wikipedia)
"Although known as a classic French dish, the quiche originated in Germany. The word quiche means "cake" which came from the German word Kuchen. Today, quiche is considered as typically French. However, custards in pastry were known in English cuisine at least as early as the 14th century. Recipes for custards baked in pastry containing meat, fish and fruit are referred to Crustardes of flessh and Crustade in the 14th-century The Forme of Cury and in 15th-century cookbooks as well"

Coburg Pizza Company
Once in a while we see some blue sky. It can help add zest to a photograph. I liked how the sun's rays made a star effect when I included just an edge of the sun.

Playing in the Fountain
Early this morning these water spouts looked like girls in white dresses playing in the fountain. Yes, I have an active imagination, but don't you see them too?

Employee of the Month
When I was younger I was always forward looking, with few thoughts about the past. Now that I am older I sometimes reflect on milestones in my life. Thirty years ago, in November 1983, I was recognized as Lane Transit District's employee of the month. This is one of the posters that were placed in each of our buses. Amazing that I ran across this today when looking through some prints.
Then, three months later, at an awards banquet in February 1984, 30 years ago this month, I was presented LTD's first ever employee of the year award. Events like this certainly remain clearly in mind, things that are now fond memories.

Light on the Lake
I enjoyed an early morning view of Dexter Lake. When the sun broke through it made nice light reflections on the ripples of the lake.

Fountain Scene Cutout
Carol has this strange old small fountain with a scene cutout in the front. Evidently when it is set up the water flows through the scene. I thought it might make a good photograph, of which you can be the judge. :) I think I like it.
