1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Beauville Station Wagon

This beautiful Chevy wagon was sitting at this shop when I drove by. Fortunately, a red light gave me barely enough time to get one shot at it. It looked really mint!

I checked online for information and found this one up for auction, estimated going price at $60,000 - $80,000. That's a bit more than the original selling price of about $3300. The online info is fairly old now, being dated in 2012. So it is long sold now. Anyway, we get some idea of how much the one I saw might be worth. - http://56classicchevy.com/1956-chevrolet-station-wagons

The 2 guys really look like they are enjoying their convention about the car! Really nice color and well shot, especially from a stop light!

There is place for fame. Stirling Moss's Aston Martin has sold for 17 million pounds. He retired in the 1960. Roger

Some things old can be worth a lot if they are in good shape. Sigh...

It's a beautiful car Vern. Amazing how these have appreciated in volume. Bet they're worth even more here in SoCal.

A feeling of back to the past. I like this American scene.

This one is sensational! Love that color and scene. The nice thing is that it probably wouldn't cost so much since it is not a Nomad. Beautifully captured Vern. ~BV~

Wow, great find and shot! Always wished I'd kept my 53' BelAir hardtop... V

Good catch, Vern. This old Chevy looks nicely restored. My husband, an old-car hobbyist, says 1955, '56, '57 Chevrolets are much sought after, therefore especially high priced.

Looks like Joe is doing some business.

Good catch, a real beauty but I will pass it's missing a hub cap. v

What a beauty, these cars were full of personality, not so to-day with modern vehicles.

Love the shot, Vern. It's even in a setting that works well. :) Quite a wonderful old car.
