New Security Guard at Rainbow Pond Fish Store

I am sure this sign with its very realistic heron gets lots of attention as drivers pass by on Main Street in Springfield. I got a kick out of it. Friends of ours here have a small secluded backyard with a little fish pond full of Koi. They had to put a screen over the top of the pond to keep herons from flying in and catching their Koi.

A great sign for advertising the business! I don't think the guard is there to protect the fish~!V

Terrific catch, Vern. I saw one of these realistic looking herons "in the wild" and slowly crept up to get a shot or two. Fooled me good! LOL

What a great find and capture of it! I thought at first it was just a very smart heron ;-).

Great sign and seems the store owner has a sense of humor putting up one of Koi's enemies. I care for a house that has Koi and the outdoor pond had babies about 3 years ago. 3 made it to last winter then one got eaten by either a heron or raccoon. The had netting over the pond for the 1st couple years of the baby Koi life.

Brilliant sign, and the heron didn't even move!
