<< Stewart Covered Bridge >>
With a span of 60 feet, the Stewart Bridge is shorter than many of the others. It was built in 1930 over Mosby Creek, east of Cottage Grove, and is not far from the Mosby Creek covered bridge. It is one of more than five in the Cottage Grove area.

<< Weddle Covered Bridge >>
One of my favorite covered bridges, Weddle bridge is another Howe design built in 1937 and renewed in a different location in 1990. The bridge is 120 feet long and now resides in Sankey Park in Sweethome, Oregon, where it crosses Ames Creek. The reconstruction was done by the Building Trades class from Sweethome High School, under the direction of class teacher, Ben Dahlenburg. The class also built a small scale covered bridge, the named after their teacher, the Dahlenburg Covered Bridge. Here is a link to a gallery showing that bridge - http://www.pbase.com/fotabug/020609dahlenburg
<< Wendling Covered Bridge >>
Located just out of Marcola, Oregon. A Howe design bridge built in 1938, the bridge is 60 feet long. It was named for George Wendling, who established a post office nearby. The post office was open from 1899 to 1952.
<< Wildcat Covered Bridge >>
The Wildcat Covered Bridge is just off Hwy. 126, at the 33 mile marker going west from Eugene. It is of similar construction to several of the other bridges I have photographed so far.
