Upper McKenzie River Trail

A 3 mile loop up one side of the river and down the other side. On this loop, one sees superb views of the river and two wonderful waterfalls, Sahalie and Koosah. In describing the hike, one book (Best Short Hikes in Northwest Oregon) said, "This hike is magical, stealing the hearts of all who tour it." We found this to be true.
