Well.. Normally about this time of year, I get the good ol' winter blues. I know it's coming, just a matter of time. This year I am trying to do something new to keep the brain busy. On a different site there is a group that do a Self Portrait every Saturday - SPS. I have been watching, and I have to say - WOW! To keep coming up with new and creative "seflies", I'm envious and some have completely amazed me. A few have been trying to get me to join in, and truth be told - I have never stepped in front of my camera! Or, at least not that I can think of. Basically, I hate the thought of getting my picture taken! Well... Here it is - A first!

We all know that photographers are their own worst critics, and I know I am mine! I came close to not posting this image for many reasons - 2nd light aimed wrong, perspective was bothering me etc etc. Well, I decided to post anyhow - a starting point.

Another first - Finally getting my new pockerwizards to work correctly! Those videos make it look so simple! ..Just turn them on and they work! Hmmm not so much! But, I got them talking, I got me in front of the camera and I decided to pull the car cover off my truck in the garage and do a 'selfie' for Self Portrait Sunday! Hey, it works too!
