RIAT Fairford Airshow 2009 Sunday

The weather was horrid on Sunday, these are the only airplanes that I shot. I used the 500VR on the D300 and 200-400VR on D700.
The plane names are in EXIF, I will add to the pix soonish, so please bare with me!
I deliberately vignetted the Vulcan, as you guessed, I am sure, as the weather was so rotten that helped make it stand out! I spent half my time putting my gear away in the bag, the blue skies in a few of the images are in between the BIG showers!!

You have some very effective compositions here. Good photography.

I have a very good friend who was high up in the RAF, now retired in Cyprus. He has some great aviation stories I wish I could publish.

Tony, good job in rotten light! I would love to see the Vulcan fly, maybe they will come across the pond on a tour someday.
