Death among loved ones goes on for many thousands each day of our lives, but it is a touching reality when someone like yourself can document it.
I told my wife last night that I loved her more than anything.

Dear Sue and Tony: I can not tell you how I was moved by your story!!! Sue, I hope you will have a rich and rewarding life from here on out and I hope you will be around until at least one hundred and three. I can tell from the way Tony talks about you that he worships the ground that you walk on. Tony, I hope you know, and I know that you do, what a lucky, lucky, lucky, locky man you are to have Sue as your wife. She is a very lovely and beautiful woman but I know that you are well aware of that. I hope everything turns out ok for the both of you and I will be praying for you.
In remission myself from cancer I know some of the trials and tribulations (and mistakes made - had an unhealing wound too), I feel so much for you. I think the loved ones suffer just as much (if not more emotionally) than the 'patient' themselves - I saw it in my own husband. Your love and support shines through in your 'diary' and I wish with all my heart for a speedy and successful ending, so you can both get on with the rest of your lives with greater love and intensity!
Best wishes
Carole

I read this most days. I'm thinking of you both at this difficult time. Regards Sylvia
