After a spectacular flight through the mountains and the South base of Mount McKinley, the pilot decided to make a landing on one of the glaciers/lakes.
The landing was executed soft and uneventful until suddenly the right ski partially broke off... resulting in a violent flip-over and ending upside down in the snow. A miracle that nobody got seriously hurt or worse.

After about 2 hours we were seen by a small aircraft that happened to pass through the valley. If they would not have seen us the whole adventure could have ended up completely different. Welcome to Alaska!
