This trip to Alaska was at the end of July and the beginning of August in 2014. We drove from Atlanta to Seattle. We then boarded the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) ferry in Bellingham, WA to Juneau, AK. After a few days in Juneau, we took the AMHS ferry to Gustavus, AK to visit Glacier Bay National Park. Then back to Juneau and on to Skagway, AK by AMHS ferry. We drove up the Klondike Highway from Skagway to Whitehorse, YT Canada and back into Alaska. We took a side trip on the Valdez Highway and then moved on to Denali National Park. We then returned home by the Alaska, aka AlCan, Highway, Canadian highways and the US Interstate System. All in all one heckuva trip in too short of a time.
