I like to get as close and as personal as I can with my subjects especially when it comes to shooting insects and flowers. I got as close I could with my Sony to shoot this Lotus Bud.

Lovely shot of the unopened bud (which is often overlooked in favor of the flower). I like the focus on the tip, receding into softness and the pleasant green background of the lily pads. V
