Tonle Sap Lake

Tonle Sap, Cambodia

This shot was taken during my recent trip to Cambodia at Tonle Sap Lake, commonly translated as the Great Lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia. I have spent a bit of time compiling some pictures of the place with some personal illustrations written on each of the picture. Do take time to browse through it. I have especially compiled it as such that you can read it like a travel photo blog (my personal experience).
Please click here for - Memoirs Of Tonle Sap Lake. Also, for similar photo shots of a fishing village which we have one in Malaysia, click here to view that place - Pulau Ketam.

This image is really nice,I assume a man with his son and wife in a boat that needs some repair .
He probably can not afford to make the repairs because putting food on the table has priority.
He is somewhat camera shy but that is ok it is part of the story of the image.
Nice compostion, and a great monochrome, framed nicely for presentation. Vote

This works really well in B&W, a beautiful scene from what looks a bygone age.

Nice B/W image. With the modern age, it becomes hard to get this kind of shot these days.
