Stop, I Am Shooting You!

Tonle Sap, Cambodia

It never occured to me to find a young girl using a camera, what more a digital camera at a place like Cambodia. This shot was taken at Tonle Sap (the floating village). We were on our way up to the boat and she was standing there taking pictures of us. Shortly after our tour around the lake, she approached us with plates and our faces on them. Each plate cost USD3. What amazed me was how technology has travelled even to the far end of the world of Tonle Sap. She's one of the blessed kids who has decent clothes to wear. At least she is wearing a denim skirt and jacket.

Again great job telling a great story about and with the image. By the way, this is a weird way to hold a camera :) V.
