Putra Mosque or Masjid Putra in Malay language, is Putrajaya's principal mosque. Located at Putra Square right next to the Prime Minister’s Office Complex, it is where Muslims around the area congregate for their Friday prayers. The mosque is large enough to accommodate 15,000 people.
Built in 1999.The mosque’s single minaret is found here, and stands 116 metres tall.
