Sunday 07/03/04

I have this old tin truck in my garden - it used to hold old documents, belonging to a big estate. It was a very unsuitable container for old paper and parchment. I brought it home in the hopes of using it somewhere in the house, but the metal edges were too hard on the floorboards. So now, it lives in the garden and gets a bit rusty but is useful when the summer comes and I need something to put drinks on.

What perfect place for it to live out it's retirement, in a garden. The texture & colors are wonderful

Great shot.
I like old thinks like this. Rust makes it as something abandoned, but to put drinks on it in summer, will gives a second life to this metal box.
