Well, the kids made it through Hurricane Ike. They had been without power from Friday night at 10:00pm till 8:00pm Monday night. While Friday and Saturday were a couple of the longest day's Sue and I can remember, they must have paled in comparison to what Jeff and Marianne, her parents and brother went through. Jeff is in Spring, Marianne's parents are in Pasadena and Steven is in Alvin. All are very close to Galveston and all had the eye of the hurricane pass over them. Thanks to a lot of prayers, the hand of our Lord appears to have protected them all. Aside from loose shingles, leaky roofs and no power, all made it through unscathed. These pictures are from Saturday morning in Jeff's neighborhood. Now that the power is back, Jeff sent these over.
