Le Bourget Airshow 1973.

These pics have been forgotten for over 30 years, due to a mistake in developing the negatives - they all got lots of dropmarks on them. Thanks to digital technology, I have now been able to restore them to some level of quality. The last few pics show the TU-144 crash which marked the end of that aircraft as a commercial proposition.

Fantatstic and very emotional shots Einar. I was there and I remenber these terrific seconds. the only pictures I have of the TU are made 2 years later in 1975. you could see some of them in my galeries but not of the same quality especially for the inflight shots.

Thanx for sharing these interesting pictures Einar! Very sad ending of the impressive Tu-144. Have you ever thought of uploading some Tu-144 pics to Airliners.Net? I'm sure they'd love them. Digital GreetinX Andreas
