I like the sky because there is so much going on there. I'm somewhat torn between this vertical and the previous horizontal composition. I think both would be candidates for B&W treatment since there is very little color other than blue.
I like the clouds and the color tone. I don't think there is too much sky. If you take out 1/2 inch from the top, the image would look like it is divided into 2 halves in the middle. So I think leaving it this way is better.
