Actually, the other side of the piece we just looked at. Doesn't it look like some kind of dinosaur? I have admired this thing for 15 years, and as far as I can tell it hasn't changed a bit in all those years! This Whitebark Pine sculpture is dazzling white, so much so that when I took pictures of it last summer with my Nikon D70, they were all horribly overexposed. Not this year. Fool me once, and so forth. This time I examined the histogram in the camera carefully and this and the next photo are much better than what I managed to capture last year.
