George Melly the Jazz singer, Author, Art critics, film and T.V critic, expert on Salvador Dali died on 5th July 07.
I had the chance to meet him a few times on his trips and tours to Plymouth and Tavistock, a few years ago I gave him a tour of the Barbican studio of Robert Lenkiewicz, Robert would not give him the time to meet so a conversation was carried out between the artist and George from a mobile phone in the studio.
