Images from Bangkok, and some of the surrounding areas of Central Thailand. This region is full of contrasts, ranging from the sprawling metropolis of Bangkok, to the ancient former capital at Ayutthaya, to the jungle-clad mountains of the Burmese border around Kanchanaburi. These images were taken during three different visits to the area between 2000 and 2003.
