In conjunction with the 400th anniversary of the founding of Quebec City, St-Lawrence College, which I attended from 1963 to 1967, was celebrating it's 50th anniversary on the weekend of May 17-19, 2008.
As most activities were happening in the evenings, I took the opportunity to re-explore my home city, rising early Sunday morning, driving to the Old Port, and taking a cruise along the St-Lawrence River to the Ile d'Orléans. Great brunch on board, great views along the river! Then I spent the afternoon walking around the Old City enjoying the sights and snapping a few shots.
All photos, except the last seven, were taken with my Canon 17-55 lens. The last seven were taken with my new 135 f/2 (love this lens!!)
