9th Walsh Golf 2008

For the 9th year in a row, we were blessed with superb Golf weather!!
And a GREAT time was had by all, "losers" included!!

Many thanks to all participants, and especially my brother Charles for
hosting the post-game diner party, and to his wife Marie-Hélène and
Caroline for cooking up such a delicious supper!!!

Equipment: Canon 40D body; Canon 24-105 L on the golf course; Canon 17-55 at the post-game party; Canon 135 L for portrait shots.
The Walsh hosts: Mimi, Charles, Joanne, Terry and myself. Team 1: Steve, Mimi, myself and son Charles Team 2: Joanne, Denis, Anne and Andy Team 3: Vince, Tee, Susan and my son Phillip
Team 4: My brother Charles, Julie, Mélanie and Paul Steve opens the tournament with a 300 yard drive down the middle!! Mimi follows up, though a little shorter! Charles showing great form, head down....
That pesky Marshall (Terry) didn't seem to trust us!!! In the rough again! But it was a good out, onto the green! IMG_3223_DxOviv.jpg Ooops, our photographer (Valerie) seems to have gotten sidetracked!
Denis going for birdie.... Or is that double-bogie? Seems Andy's game was uphill all day long!! Broken knees and all, Anne managed all 18 holes! Is that my good friend in the rough, or is the s.o.b. going to hit the green too!
Susan strutting her stuff.... Phillip in great form, hitting over 225 yards!! Missed by an inch! There goes our photographer again! Maybe I'm not paying her enough!!
