Miami Dolls - Dolphin Dolls
1974 (I believe) Ektachrome film
These are frames from an 8-9 minute film in which Bill Allen and several of the Miami Dolls are intervened during practice by a “Channel 4” reporter dressed in a cheerleader outfit.

The film has had some colour correction applied and there are blue stains, which appear periodically throughout the film. They are most likely due to poor storage / humidity.

I have listened to the audio track for the film, which is on mag stripe, and is usual for newsreel footage.

Initially I thought the girls were older, but the audio track revealed their voices sound quite young.

There is another film from 1956 showing the Miami All-star twirling Club in action. It is about 15 min long.

This is a 15-minute 16mm Kodachrome film from 1956.
The film was a wee bit under-exposed.
The film shows on field maneuvers of the Miami All star Twirling Club in two sequences. At the end of the second sequence (a different day) the girls parade past the camera).
