A defining moment in my life was when I sold my beautiful all blond/gold Epiphone Les Paul-style guitar so I could buy one o' them newfangled TWELVE-speeds when I was about 14 years old. Cleveland has probably the best metro parks systems in the United States. I don't know why we don't get more credit for it. If it hadn't been there I probably would not have gotten so involved in cycling which has been an extremely rewarding pastime. I could seriously go on 40+ mile solo rides in perfect safety from my early teens onward. I love my bikes more than my own wife, kids, AND mom! 8-)

This is intended to just show off my bikes, and hopefully if I have any photographic skill some of these are supposed to be fetishy attempts to capture the powerful lust, joy, and True Love I have for my bike gear.

My road bike is a Peugeot that has evolved, one part at a time, from my hard-earned Dream Bike I bought in 1986. The only thing left from the original bike is the front brake cable housing. It is now a Reynolds 531 frame and fork from around 1980 (it was rare for them to sell just a frameset, but this is THE frameset they sold w/ their best bikes for many years), with mostly shimano ultegra/600 parts. I recently got a brand new Zephal HP off ebay! I also recently went from 8 speed bar-end shifters to 9 speed sti with some nice new Mavic rims. The new Ultegra cassette almost ended up in a display case on my mantle it it so beautiful!
