Arches and Canyonlands

Arches and Canyonlands National Parks as well as the Dead Horse Sate Park are near the city of Moab, Utah. The greatest concentration of stone arches, sandstone spires, hoodoos, buttes and stone towers sometimes perched above the Colorado or the Green Rivers is in these parks. The 12,000 feet high peaks of the La Sal Mountains, snow-capped most of the year, gives a wonderful background for the imense pink, red or yellow rocks.
