This Aircraft did NOT have hydraullic failure. The Navigator of the fatel crash is my lecturer whos teaching me Gen Nav at the moment for my ATPL's. He was onboard when the aircraft lost power. The reason for the loss of power was through water in the fuel system from the heavy rain that had been in the area at the time. Unfortunately the third member of crew did not eject, however the Captain and Navigator did..

Unfortunatly this aircraft crashed at its old home base at Luqa, Malta around November 1978. It was on its way back to Whyton from Cyprus when it stoped to refuel at its old base in Malta, on takeoff the hydraullics failed and it went of the runway at Siggiewi, 2 crew Pilot and navigator ejected the third unfortunatly perished, if i remember correctly he was only 19.
