Assorted Aircraft Pix

I have been interested in aircraft since the early 1960's when I began to log the registrations and take photos. These are some of the aircraft I have seen. Many no longer exist and some of the photographs are now over 60 years old,and I would like to think they are of historical value and interest. Please excuse quality of some as my pocket money did not allow for expensive cameras. Many were taken with Practica cameras and quite a few of them have been scanned from transparencies with my Epson scanner.In 2001 I bought a Fuji 6900Z and in August 2008 I purchased a used Nikon D70.

November 2012.....my galleries have now exceeded 500,000 views. My thanks to all.

Can you remember the date (or even the year) that you took the photo of the Aircoupe G-ARHC. I currently own the aircraft and have for the last 27 years since 1982, but I have never seen a photo of it in that paint scheme before. Thanks, Andrew.

What a wonderful selection of aircraft, many of which I have never seen in person, though I have heard of in publications........I can only offer myself one salvation and maybe return the envy back to you. In 1958 my parents moved from South Shield to Canada, right under the approch to 23R at Malton in Toronto. I got to see RL-201 and the others fly at that time. Little did I know as a kid, how much aviation history I was seeing ! Sincere thanks for the post of many other classics .......... ................Ken Wiberg

Since my last visit here almost 2 years ago, I have actually managed to get some oldies scanned and published. Interesting thing about your Concorde shot, is that it must have occupied about the same spot that the TU-144 was in 4 years later before it crashed during its display.
