Clints and Grykes

Malham Cove

I decided to go the long way home from work, adding in about 100 miles in order to get this. I arrived just before sunset and had to run the last few hundred yards before the sun disappeared behind the hills to the west.

Whats with the Image name? - Clints are the blocks and grykes are the slots in the limestone pavement above Malham Cove in Yorkshire. The composition I chose was in order to try and balance the tree by someting green closer and diagonally oposite. The Clints and Grykes hopefully lead the eye to the final resting place at the tree.

Perfect composition and excellent lighting on the limestone clints. Thanks for the explanation - both the clints and grykes and the way you chose the composition.
