Crossing the Border

From the Futaleufu River valley in Chile, we took a 45 minute drive to the Argentine border. The small border crossing goes from one dirt road to another. After another 45 minutes, we reached paved roads, shortly after that, our first major stop in Argentina -- the town of Esquel. We parted company with Chris, Mary and Gwen. From Esquel, we took a 4 hour bus ride north to Bariloche.
