2015 turned out to be another busy year. Most of the visits were short in stay and long in travel time. I went to South Africa for a second time, returning over a decade after my initial visit. The highlight was seeing the big five (lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and leopards). In Canada, Alan and I spent a weekend in Vancouver followed by my business trip to Whistler. In Japan, I caught a narrow window of clear skies allowing me to summit Mt. Fuji and watch the sunrise. I was able to visit Thailand and Sri Lanka for the first time. For the 4th year in a row, I went to India, this time to Chennai, where floods came after their heaviest one-day rainfall in a decade. Alan and I also went to the northeast as well as southern California for special events where we met up friends and families.
