We were there in 2005, when Greece wasn't the basket case its become We had a great hotel, food and drink were reasonably priced, and you could drive all over the island on an ATV that was cheap to rent. However, I should say my SIL was there a few weeks ago, said there wasn't any refugee issues on Santorini, but that prices were much more expensive. Highly recommended as a place to visit
