I remember a business trip to Houston in the early 1980's I think, the houses were all decorated with ice from water running from the burst pipes after a freeze. Good opportunity for plumbers though.
Ahem. God's country also includes places which do not suffer from the plague of snow. Probably not one of the biblical plagues, but it ought to be. I would venture that Houston seldom suffers from the snow plague. Ask any Texan, this here IS God's country, even though our football teams suck. Maybe crappy football teams is a plague as well. I gotta think about that. Eventually.... maybe....
