Houses in San Francisco

Many carpenters and architects in the end of 19th century started to reject the symmetrical home designs of their times and began to create a new exciting 'view': the asymmetrical open facade, with a mix of romantic styles from victorian gothic, turkish, egiptian and italian. The italian creativity was famous for the brackated roofs, balustrades, colors and lion heads. The pictures are not selective.I simply walked around the area of Nob Hill in San Francisco(USA). Enjoy...!
