After 4th cycle of DHAP (10th cycle overall).

It was a very hot summer; and within this hot summer, the day I took this photo was especially hot (38° celsius).

My weight had gone up to 84 kg due to mega-high doses of cortisone (40mg dexamethasone during day 1-5 - which is the equivalent of 5 x 240 mg prednisone) and the resulting appetite.

The cortisone withdrawal became worse after each cycle of DHAP: I broke in a cold sweat in irregular intervalls, my whole body itched like crazy, I was totally listless, I could not sleep for more then 2 hours in the night, and when I finally slept, I dreamed that thousands of tiny insects were crawling all over my body, so that I woke up screaming...

Fortunately, my Lady has a very deep sleep...:-)

I felt fat, bloated, and exhausted and decided that I did not want any more chemotherapy.
