Place and habitats visited: Estes Park YMCA (foothills), Endo Valley (freshwater meadow), Rainbow Curve (an overlook of the park), Medicine Bow Curve (alpine tundra), Long's Peak campground (a few miles below a 7 mile hike to a peak of 14k ft), and Ouzel Falls in the Wild Basin (waterfalls and a recently burned spruce forest).
